Lesson 7-empty current session

Hi,

On P283: I was able to run the model and get all the output features but there was nothing under "current Session" (The model was not listed as shown in Fig. 7-81) when I tried to make the geoprocessing package.

Any suggestions?

Hi Wei,

One possibility: if you run the model from the ModelBuilder window, you don't get geoprocessing results (see first paragraph of A quick tour of creating a geoprocessing package). You have to run the model as a geoprocessing tool as in Exercise 7D.

Another possibility: if you ran the model as a tool but didn't save the map document where the model outputs were displayed, you would also not get geoprocessing results. As long as you saved the map document (Lesson7.mxd) you should be able to find geoprocessing results under the heading Previous Session in the Results window.

If neither of these explanations is the right one, let us know and we'll keep working on it.
