Inconsistent resolution for 2D layers in ArcGIS Pro scene.

I'm building an oblique map in ArcGIS Pro and the scene is rendering my 2D layers at a lower resolution when they are further away from the viewing point. This effect remains the same after exporting. Is there any kind of setting I can change to remove this effect? The screenshot below shows the blue and green dots as much larger in the top half of the image and smaller/higher resolution in the bottom half. If I convert the layers to 3d using extrusion then the effect goes away (but it looks worse). Any ideas?

*EDIT*

Changing drawing mode from 'perspective' to 'parallel' fixes the problem. But that is not how I want the scene to be rendered.
