When I try to make an app in app studio I get a message saying it requires standard license.

Why do I get a message stating that I need a standard license to make an app? Do I need a standard license for ArcGIS online in order to publish my app to iOS and Android app stores?

Ronald,

The terms "standard license" is an older terminology, they are now called AppStudio for ArcGIS Developer Edition.

And yes, you need AppStudio Developer Edition to use Cloud Make to build install executable for your app (iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, and Linux).

Thank you,

Erwin,

I now know I was running a way older version of Appstudio: 2.1

I also found that with an AppStudio for ArcGIS Developer Edition I can publish apps to iOS and Android.

Thank You,

Ron
