Single Point to Raster Empty Output?

Hello,

I am experiencing trouble getting a shapefile with a single point in it to become a raster using the Point to Raster tool. The generated output is always empty.

My parameters are set to a cell size of 50.

I have left all other options blank or default. I have tried playing around with them to no avail - empty output every time.

Has anyone experienced this problem and is there a trick to getting it to work?

I am using ArcGIS Pro.

Thanks,

Emily

and the output raster must be non fgdb if the output raster contains a single cell (1 column and 1 row). In other words then output to Esri Grid, .tif or .img

see it before, set your extent so that the center of the point is in the middle of the extent... I suspect that it is an extent issue and the points location within a cell.  Confirm presence or absence of the data by examining the raster statistics... not visually, unless you set a really big cell size

There are also some additional questions;

  • is the input in meters, feet, degrees?
  • are you expecting a single cell raster?
  • what will you be using this raster for?
  • what version of ArcGIS are you using?

Also, you state that the generated output is empty;

  • does this raster have 1 column and 1 row?
  • is it in a file geodatabase (fgdb)?

Thanks

All I did was save it outside of my fgdb and it worked!
