I've discovered a user in our pool of concurrent licenses that is on vacation.  The weird thing is, the user is still showing connected after turning the desktop computer off.  Is there a way (short of stopping and restarting Flex LM) to bounce the stale connection?

That should just about do it....

As the license server administrator, you can force a license check-in.  Go to the ArcGIS License Server Administrator.  click on the Availability folder and then View License Usage.  Go to the Checked Out tab.  Click on the drop down menu and select the feature that was checked out.  It should display all users consuming that feature.  Select the user in question and click Force Check-In in the upper right hand corner.  Unfortunately, you can only select a feature at a time.  You may need to check the log to see if the user checked out extensions as well.

Of course the easier option is to restart the LM when possible.  Hope this helps.

Thanks!  had it figured out after a few minutes.  It would be fun to write a script that forces a check in as soon as a user checks out a license, just to goof on them.....
