I am in the process of digitizing and modeling an old topographic map and have run into an issue with Topo to Raster where cliffs intersect lower areas. Specifically, I have cliffs that drop several hundred feet to a river - I thought I initially got away with this by adding a new line with the river elevation to the inside of the cliff (so that, say, 550m was side-by-side with 750m). This did not work as the lower elevation was largely ignored by Topo to Raster. I figure there must be a minimum distance that contour lines must be separated - any ideas? Thanks!
