How do I export geoTIFF from ArcMap to use in Civil 3D?

I have a georeferenced TIFF that I am able to bring into ArcMap but does not work in Civil 3D. Can I export it from ArcMap in a way that it can be utilized in my Autocad Civil 3D? Detailed steps on how to do this would be appreciated as I am a newbie with ArcGIS. Thanks!

does civil 3d require a tiff with a world file? and your geotiff doesn't have one?
