When will WebApp builder move to 4.3 for 2D?

Does anyone have an idea?

Could a 4.3 2D template be added?

Any updates on this issue? I'm beginning a project the may use custom WAB widgets and I don't want to start down the 3.x road (2D) if 4.x support is coming soon. Thanks!

A beta has not been released yet. Please watch this tech session video from the Esri 2019 Dev Summit,

Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS: What's New and What's Coming - YouTube 

Specifically, watch from 15:36, where the presenters introduce and preview Experience Builder (the next generation Web AppBuilder).
