Where to find someone to give constructive criticism on a student map?

Two of my students created a map of our campus to help incoming 6th-graders more easily learn about the campus and what classes are taught in which classrooms, and what teachers teach in specific classrooms.

We were too late to submit the map to our regional Story Map competition.  Is there another entity that would offer suggestions to improve the map?  If there is such a group or person, I will share the students' map.

Thank you.

Hi Della.

Your other two links don't open because you need to include http or https at the beginning of those links.

You could publish the LCMS Campus Guide map using the Story Map Basic web app to give it a slicker looking user interface. See this page: Story Map Basic | Story Maps

Alternatively, how about using Story Map Tour to make a campus tour with pictures too.

Hi Della

Sounds like a cool project. If you feel comfortable posting the URL to the Story Map publicly, and assuming it is shared publicly, you could post it in this thread to garner some feedback,

There is also a Story Maps For Education space on Geonet too: Story Maps for Education

Rupert,

Only the LCMS Campus Guide opened.

Here is the link for the Story Map http://lcms.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=f8b242500c26470ab7d167816fd3af74

I will also post that on the link, Story Maps for Education.

Enjoy the weekend:)

Hello, Rupert.

Thank you!  I will take your advice.

School is not in session, so I have some time in between professional development sessions...only 2 weeks this summer.

I wish you well.
