I swear that at one time there was an extension for a CAD drawing toolbar that could be used while editing. The toolbar had drawing and dimensioning tool similar to AutoCAD.  Can anyone confirm this?

Customize... toolbars   provides the list

I don't remember one that was there, but at least in 10.6 it isn't.

COGO is there.

Georeferencing stuff for CAD is in the Georeferencing toolbar (may have been elsewhere before)

Maybe the functionality is contained within non-data type specific toolbars now.

In Pro, you are pretty well left with cad tools in ArcToolbox.

What I am thinking about may have had been a third party tool or add-on called CAD Tools.  I believe it was available for 10.1 and/or 10.2 however I can't find mention of it anywhere.

Thomas... try ArcGIS Code Sharing... it may live on there, but given the version, I suspect you might have some work to get the functionality to work in current versions of ArcMap

Hey Thomas,

Just checking in - Was Dan able to answer your question?

If not have you tried using the Esri's AutoCAD plugin ArcGIS for AutoCAD?

NOVALIS had CAD Tools for ArcGIS around 2002.

There was a toolbar addin for CAD in Pro. I used to have it, but I don't remember what version it was for, 2.2 or 2.3 maybe. However, I can't seem to find it anymore either. If I do come across it I will put a link for it here.
