Use Enterprise Logins with CityEngine?

Is it possible to use enterprise logins with CityEngine? We use Shibboleth enterprise logins to support single-sign-on for our ArcGIS Online instance. I am able to add the URL for our AGO instance via Preferences --> Network --> Portal; however, the Sign In user interface doesn't appear to support enterprise logins. Am I missing a setting or option somewhere?

Are there any plans to implement this in the near future ? I noticed that in 2017.1 this is still not working. Why is Cityengine the only Esri application that does not support enterprise login on ArcGIS online. Using an ArcGIS online account is not really a good option, we are working in a university environment with hundreds of users which change frequently.
