How to fix this problem: "Service's containing process has crashed."
Here is a support document where you can start. Error: Services containing process crashed. ServiceName.GPServer instance has crashed and there is this solved thread: [SOLVED] Error 8273: geoprocessing services crashing on SOM start and not restarting
Thanks! I checked PythonPath but the registry is pointing to the correct path C: \ Python27 \ ArcGISx6410.1 \ Lib; C: \ Python27 \ ArcGISx6410.1 \ DLLs; C: \ Python27 \ ArcGISx6410.1 \ Lib \ lib-tk.
I would have suggested to contact Esri support, but as of this year version 10.1 has been retired: https://support.esri.com/en/Products/Enterprise/arcgis-server/ArcGIS-Server/10-1#product-support and there is no support for this version. Do you have the possibility to upgrade to a more recent version?
You will have to provide a lot more details about the hardware server is installed on, how the service is configured (including scripts), etc in order for someone here to help.
What is the OS?
Could you try repairing the ArcGIS Server installation?
Hello. Windows Server 2008 R2.
I am afraid of the impact repairing can have on the application
Did you happen to have any Windows patches applied to your server machine lately?
Problem starting PublishingTools Service
Instance of the service 'System/PublishingTools.GPServer' crashed
Automatic update occurred, I already uninstalled
And this issue is still present? If so, you may need to upgrade to a new version of ArcGIS Server, as Xander Bakker mentioned earlier.
At the moment I have no conditions to buy a new arc server
I can understand that, but the fact of the matter is that support for 10.1 is no longer available from Esri. If you determine it is a defect there will be no fix for it at 10.1 and it may already be fixed in a newer version.
