Automatic zoom in ArcGIS Online

This is likely a pretty stupid question:

I have a ArcGIS Online map showing point on various continents at a global scale.
I'd like to be able to click on one of these points and it to automatically zoom into the location at a street-level scale.

Anyone have advice on how to do this?

Thank you.

This would not happen natively in ArcGIS Online. You would likely need to custom program that on an "on click" event in your web map app. Though, some Story Maps have this capability in various forms and fashions which might work for what you're needing:

Cat,

there are no stupid questions only stupid answers! I don't think you are able to do that within ArcGIS Online. What you can do is setup a pop-up window and then there will be a link "zoom to" which will zoom to the feature.

Hello Tim,

Is there a way to set the level of the zoom to feature in the popup to a specific zoom level?

Kind regards,

I don't think this is possible.

This is possible with custom url parameters in the configurable apps.

How are users navigating to the locations?
