Unable to open configure app after update

I have a utility app created for the city of Bemidji mn. i was able to configure it prior to the ArcOnline update. Now when i go to configure it, it will not open. The screen just grinds away with the flashing blue bars as if its thinking real hard.

has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas?

What app are you using? Can you share the link?

Are there any error messages in the developer tools of your web browser that you can share?r

I also seem to be having this issue with using the basic viewer web mapping application.

yup..that's the one I am using.

I have an appointment this afternoon with ESRI.

I will post if we come up with a solution

I spoke with esri..its a bug they are woking on..got it to work by editing the JSON.

However..you are better off just recreating the app

This sounds like  a bug that is going to be fixed in the next release, BUG-000097451. The following geonet thread is a good resource for instructions on fixing the issue for the time being.
