We have problem that requires us to join the attributes for many points to one polygon. I do not think there is a tool for this, but I just want to make sure I am not missing something simple.
This is a 6 month or so one off job so I can not justify much time for a whiz-bang python, etc. solution.
My current plan for it. Select a sub set of the points so that each polygon only has one point intersecting it by hand. Execute a one to one Spatial Join. Then select a new set of points, with one point per polygon. Execute one to one Spatial Join with the output of the first join. Repeat. I think 3 or 4 iterations will get us there.
Is there a faster way to do this?
