I am working on a project in school about calculating the least costly bicycle rout from some places to school.
My question is if it is possible to add data about slope to a network analysis and base the analysis on how much its cost to go from a to b.
Like when travel one way the slope is positive but on the way back it will be negative, can you calculate a network analysis on this or do I have to use like pathdistance? Though I easily want to change the starting point of the route. Or if I use network analysis is the only way to set different speeds on different routes to simulate the slope?
