Database: Oracle 11g R2
Server: Windows Server 2008 R2

Problem: Cannot open attribute table (from job in jtx/wmx).  Cannot reconcile version (from job in jtx/wmx).  Cannot delete user from (jtx/wmx) Workflow Manager Administrator or (jtx/wmx) workspace in ArcCatalog.

Below is an example of the issue.

Ex. Problem

(ADDING JTX/WMX USERS)

Add User A
Add User B (corrupt) (user will not be able to open attribute table/reconcile)
Add User C
Add User D
Add User E

Test

Try to delete user B (corrupt) in workflow manager administrator or arccatalog.

Result

CANNOT delete user B (corrupt) in workflow manager administrator or arccatalog. User persists.

Solution to delete corrupt user (User B)

Remove users in the opposite order they were added.

Delete User E (Close workspace in Catalog or workflow manager administrator - Reopen to verify user is deleted)
Delete User D (Close workspace in  Catalog or workflow manager administrator - Reopen to verify user is deleted)
Delete User C (Close workspace in  Catalog or workflow manager administrator - Reopen to verify user is deleted)

Delete User B (corrupt) (Close workspace in Catalog or workflow manager administrator - Reopen to verify user is deleted) - Corrupt user will now be deleted

This problem has persisted through all JTX/WMX versions including Workflow Manager 10 SP2.  Also leaves remnants in JTX tables.

NOTES: No idea what corrupts the user.

Hi Craig,

Thank you for reporting this issue, it is a bug in the application and it seems to be resolved at service pack 3 of ArcGIS Workflow Manager.

Thanks,
Tope
