Share Extent from One Desktop to Another

It would be nice to capture the current exent in Desktop maybe in a form of a string identifier, Then copy it into another Desktop session so both sessions are identical from a extent perspective.

Well, it's not quite as convenient as just copy and past like you seem to be suggesting, but you can already do this in ArcGIS Desktop. You just have to create a new bookmark of your current extent, then open bookmark manager (in the Bookmarks drop-down window), and export/save the bookmarks (all or just the currently selected) to a file which could be shared with someone else and then from the bookmark manager they can load that bookmark file you shared with them and zoom to your bookmarks.

Yep. You're correct. Was hoping for a quicker solution to eliminate a few steps. Looking for a solution when a user has two ArcMap sessions open simultaneously.
