Filter/Query/Highlight pixel values in raster dataset

    Problem statement
When displaying raster datasets, there are times when you want to perform a visual inspection of the pixel values. The current 2 methods available on ArcMap to inspect pixel values are:
    1. rendered value - pixel colour displayed on map
    2. pixel value - band values laid in a grid using the Pixel Inspector tool

If you are looking for a particular colour or pixel value-range, it is time consuming using these existing methods. It is like looking for a needle in a haystack!

    Proposed Idea
A simple but effective feature/tool is that can be added to either methods mentioned above, is to be able to filter/query or hightlight the pixel value-range a user requests. Continuing with the needle in a haystack analogy, if the needle could be filtered-out or highlighted, then it makes the task of locating the needle that much easier and more efficient if you just want to inspect them.

This feature can be offered to the user in 2 ways:
    1. Pixel value-range specifier, e.g. filter in/out pixels with value x or a range of values a to b and x to y
    2. Pixel-colour picker, like in graphics applications, the user can select any rendered pixel on the map to filter for other similar pixels - perhaps could enhance by adding a tolerance factor as an option.

There are probably a few other ways to implement this feature, but at a minimum it would be nice to have the option to highlight target pixel values on the map or in the Pixel Inspector tool.
