Not all organizations or individuals have the capacity to update their map applications as soon as ESRI releases a new version of the API. In addition, samples/examples provided in the Code Gallery are not required to have been developed using the latest API version. It would be nice if ESRI updated its documentation system so that online documentation created for older API versions remain available online following the release of online documentation for the newest release. This would both assist with maintaining existing, stable applications that do not require the new API as well as providing added asistance for developers when updating their code as they would be able to easily reference the official documentation for the releases involved.
