Calendar Date Picker in ArcCatalog Change Year

When editing dates in ArcCatalog, you should be able to change years with a button and not have to cycle through 12 months to get to the year prior (or further). Having to click 48 times to change to 4 years back is not acceptable.

I like the date picker in ArcMap for attributes...

describes how to quickly change years, months and days. The top of the calendar shows the month, year. You have to click on that area at the top of the calendar to see a list of years, months. Use the scroll arrows on either side to see different lists. I ran into this same problem the other day and ESRI tech support sent me this screencast showing me how to do it.
