ArcGIS supports LAS datasets for lidar.  There is a growing volume of gpr data for underground/subsurface imaging that should be supported at some level in ArcGIS, including the Image Extension for Server.  There are parallels in supporting seismic data for geophysical exploration work.  GPR and seismic data are multidimensional in nature and complex.  The ArcGIS platform would be a nice fit for display and basic analysis and processing.

I cannot put forth the arguement any better than the original post.  The ability to integrate GPR data in ArcGIS would be a huge asset for our operations at a state geological survey.

What format does the GPR data come in?

With Geocap's Seismic Explorer extension it is possible to read SEG-Y data and visulize it an integarted 3D window in ArcMap.
