It is time already to get rid of the three levels for the desktop version of ArcMap. There should only be two available, ArcView and ArcEditor. The problem lies within the fact that the price jump from ArcEditor is too extreme and the tools exclusive for ArcInfo are very important when editing data. Now that ESRI is beginning to increase geocoding costs for their products, a reduction in price/removal of ArcInfo should take place to offset some of these costs for the user. ESRI products are already 10 times more expensive than comparable products on the market, time to become more wallet friendly.
