When digitizing a new polygon, at time I want to snap to a node on another polygon and then I want to not snap to previously formed nodes.  Now I do this by going into the editor:options and changing the snapping tolerance from 1 to 10 or from 10 to 1, depending if I want to snap or off.  But that takes 4 clicks of my mouse each time I want to change the mode.  I used to use Map-Info, for which to change the snapping tolerance while digitizing, one pressed the "s" key, which acted as a toggle between snap on and snap off.  Does Arc-Map have such a feature, and if not, I think it would be a useful one to add to the arsenal!  One could pre-set the snap-on and snap-off tolerances for whatever seemed most useful.
