When doing an Intersect or Identity of lines with polygons, if the line is coincident with the boundary between polygons then duplicate lines are created in the output so that the values of both polygons can be assigned to the line.  Unfortunately it is not well documented that this is happening and there doesn't appear to be any easy way to find the duplicates without creating and validating topology.
It would be helpful to have the option of assigning coincident lines the value of the left side polygon, right side polygon, or both so that I could control whether or not duplicate lines are created.
    Thank you!
