Two suggestions:
1. Offer ability to set symbology defaults for point features. Be able to set this at application level not just individual maps. I would prefer to never have an outline on point data, ever, ever so let me choose this as a default for all my maps.
2. Ability to chose what information shows up in "Add data" menu. Like Catalog but in Map when adding new layers. Seriously, could I please by able to sort by date when adding layers. Jeez.
