Currently if a user views the details on a map or application from a group there is no way to return to the group content without using the browser's back button. To return to the group screen the user needs to click the main "Groups" link at the top of the screen and then another click on the group name to see the content in the group. When a user is viewing the details of a map or application that is part of a group there should be a link back to the group's main content screen.

I would suggest this is part of a larger disconnect between how people expect groups and content to work, and the current ArcGIS Online implementation. Most of our users are confused by the limited, two-level structure of Content. They expect to be able to treat content like a regular file system, and have as many levels of folders as they need.

When it comes to a group's Content, they expect the group's content to be in a folder they can navigate to in their content. Similar to what they do in shared file-systems, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, DropBox, Box, etc.

So, as this post suggests, if they opened an item from their Content when viewing a directory listing of their group's folder, then they expect to be returned to the same view of Content.
