ArcGIS Pro jump to list item when typing

I have a geodatabase containing hundreds of objects. In ArcCatalog, I can click on some arbitrary object, start typing the name of the one that I want, and the list will jump down to the name I typed.

In ArcGIS Pro (currently 2.4.3), this behavior is less effective, or nonexistent, in various windows such as the Catalog pane, Catalog view, and mini-browser. In some cases, typing does nothing. In others, Pro selects the item whose name was typed, but does not jump to the selected item if it is off of the visible page.

I would like for Pro to work like ArcCatalog (and Windows Explorer) and jump to the matching item in a list when its name is typed, including scrolling to that item if necessary. This would make managing containers with many objects easier.

This is a Duplicate of Go to folder by first letter in ArcGIS Pro Catalog Pane which will be available in ArcGIS Pro 2.5.
