ArcPro 2.4.2: Why doesn’t the ArcPro start with default aprx file?
I suggest to have the ArcPro started with default aprx file WITHOUT the need to go to the first page below. The user can then “save as” to other location if needed
I disagree. Most enterprise users would have the different projects setup as templates within portal, etc. for access to be used for various workflows
It's possible to start without a template or with a default project;Options->Application->General->Start ArcGIS Pro
[ ] Show the start page
[ ] Without a project template
[ ] With a default project
Thanks Jesper Svedberg. It works with me
I observed that this needs to be enhanced to:
- Not to save the aprx file in a folder (Pro fails to respect unchecking “create folder for a project” option when choosing the “without a project template” option; it keeps saving the aprx file in a folder)
- Not to create gdb file
- Not to create tbx file
- To get the map item created by default
