ArcGIS for AutoCAD is compatible with ArcGIS Pro. As a few examples to help clarify:
- If you use ArcGIS for AutoCAD to assign a coordinate system to a drawing in the CAD environment, and then load that drawing into ArcGIS Pro, the assigned coordinate system carries over.
- ArcGIS Pro reads feature class content from ArcGIS for AutoCAD. As additional context, document feature layers added to drawings in the CAD environment (using ArcGIS for AutoCAD) are included as feature layers when the drawing is loaded into ArcGIS Pro.
As a continuation of my post from Feb. 2024, and the existing compatibility between ArcGIS for AutoCAD and ArcGIS Pro for read-in of CAD files, we are marking this item as Closed.
