Just to clarify, are you asking for the ability to select Census Designated Place (CDP) boundaries to use in the Smart Map Search feature of the Business Analyst Web App?
CDP geographies are not included in Business Analyst Web; however, you can add a Web Map Layer of Census Places in the Add Data workflow and use the data in Smart Map Search. Once you have added the Web Map, open the Smart Map Search workflow – select “Browse all variables” to open the Data Browser, and you will find the Web Map data in the Standard data tab – Map Layers.
