In Arc Map, when doing a field calculation on a feature class that is joined by a common attribute to another feature class, when building the expression in the calculator dialogue, the name of the layer is in front of the name of the field. This is very handy if you have multiple, nested joins.

In Pro 2.1.2, no such feature. You have to add the field name to the expression block before you can tell from which joined table it is coming from, which makes performing frequent calculations on joined tables a "Heck with this, I'm going to keep doing this in Arc" experience.
