Compare Widget or Compare (Group) Layer Option for 3D Apps/Scenes

The compare widget known from 2d apps with sliders / side by side presentation would be very nice to have also in 3d apps!
One major application is urban development, where we have to compare different modells / layers all the time.
I know theres an 3d-app template to compare 2 scenes side by side, but only 2, and not too comfortable to use.
The cityengine webscenes have such an compare mode, it would be very usefull to have this option also in WebScenes or apps.
Maybe an additional "compare" option in the "group-Layer section" in Webscenes is a good place to put this funktionality, even without widget.
For now layers in a group can have different modes: all clickable, only one layer option, merge, blend out (our text is german, so english text might be different) , so why not add "comparable" and once the group is choosen the split screen activates or maybe via additional buttons like in cityengine webscenes.
