Ensure ArcGIS Pro maintains valid metadata about Feature Count

It appears that ArcGIS Pro 2.1.0 does not update metadata accordingly with regards to Feature/row Counts as does ArcMap/ArcCatalog.

For example I have a FeatureClass created from dissolving boundaries. The final result is a dataset with exactly 1 polygon in it, so a common and familiar workflow (i.e. me not doing something obscure).

If I review my metadata in the Catalog View window it clear shows 3967 features (the original dataset) yet it only has 1 polygon in it!

If I review my GeoDatabase in ArcCatalog, it is still saying 3967.

Finally in ArcCatalog, if I finally preview the TABLE not just GEOGRAPHY of this dataset and then go to description it updates itself.

I have to do this with ArcGIS Pro closed otherwise it resets itself back to the 3967 rows.

There is a clear disconnect with the metadata and what is currently in the dataset, this needs to fixed ASAP.
