In ArcMap, the Basic Edit Toolbar has some really useful and time-saving editing tools, most importantly, Buffer and Copy Parallel. These are really handy for example, if you need to pull an administrative boundary (e.g road side mowing corridor) of a roads layer, you simply start editing on a polygon layer, select your roads, buffer tool, polygon layer is updated. In Pro, this requires using a GP tool, generating a completely new output layer, then importing the results to the original layer. Same for the merge tool, in Arc, I can simply select a few features, then from the Basic Edit Toolbar, select "merge". Ditto for Explode Multi-part feature. Can do it in Arc, not seeing how I can do any of these things in Pro.
