ArcMap allows you to create a feature by streaming vertices. ArcPro doesn't allow this. The freehand tool is problematic because of the way it warps edits, it would be nice to have the streaming tool back.
Really disappointed this simple feature was removed and still not addressed. I find myself less and less willing to waste time with Pro.
Bring it back!
The freehand tool is not an adequate replacement for streaming. Its automatic curve smoothing warps polygons too much for it to be useful for digitizing. Bring streaming back!
You have defined the term- Stream Mode Digitizing
Please implement in ArcGIS Pro. This is a very common editing practice in ArcMap and CAD.
Streaming is a critical part of our geologic map workflows, and is preventing many from transitioning to Pro.
We need the ability to turn on and off the stream mode on one single line like in ArcMap with F8 key when digiziting.
My organization uses streaming on a daily basis in desktop to produce landscape classification data sets through photo interpretation and manual digitization. We can't and won't switch over to Pro until this feature is available.
So in reviewing the soon to be released AGP 2.3 Help Docs, Streaming will be available and creates a free hand sketch by streaming vertices; then simplifies the sketch into a series of line segments within a specified tolerance.
