Currently our workflow in ArcMap is to give a mapdocument a document name which fits in with our Document control procedures and revisions. We can currently use the MapDocument properties to populate these details and use dynamic text to populate these onto a drawing.
In ArcPro there is a project that can have any number of layouts within it. In that respect it is similar to a cad drawing with viewports.
The layouts in ArcPro have metadata that can be populated and accessed as dynamic text.
However for the project there is only the project name. What I would like is the ability to have some metadata that I could populate at the project level and use this to fill out #of issue details for a map along these line
- Document Number: Project Level Metadata
- Drawing/Map Name: Layout Level Metadata
- Revision: Layout Level Metadata
