While using the summary widget, let the cluster summarize the data instead of the geographic points.
For example: if 1 point represents 5 units then the cluster will show 5 (and not 1).

Thanks for submitting this idea. When promoting this idea, could you include a use case detailing the problem this functionality would help solve? The help topic for Clustering contains a section on clustering when a point layer has been symbolized based on categories. Does this partially address your request, or could it be expanded upon?

It would be good to be able to set the clustering tolerance in the Summary Web App. It would also be good to be able to set "walls" which the clustering app cannot cross, such as a country polygon.

In reply to this topic: summarize by polygon in ArcGIS Online webapp

Clustering of the points works well, but in multitude of cases, the end users (project managers especially) would like to see an overview of features across the extent of the area. In case of transport and infrastructure projects the the area locations may not be just points, but needs polygons or polylines. Clustering option for the two feature geometries will enable better visualization of  project areas dispersed across the town.

Currently I use GeoCortex's native clustering capability  that clusters any features irrespective of the geometry type.

Quite handy.

Summary widget can display the attribute summary if configured for polyline and polygon features. But without clustering.
