This idea has been merged with Ability to add Domains and Subtypes in ArcGIS Online.
I am not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I have a subtype problem: after I export my hosted feature service to a FGDB in AGOL, and then download and try to open it in ArcMap (Citrix or Desktop, doesn’t matter) to modify the data there, none of the subtypes come over. Something is not happening during the export to FGDB in AGOL in order to retain that information. Is this not supported? I am exporting to FGDB from the Item Details page. It is an extraordinary amount of work to have to rebuild all of that information.
Were you able to find any workaround to this problem? I am running into the same issue and can't find any solution. I have tried bringing the feature service into ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro to save local copies, but this also causes the loss of subtypes and associated domains.
No, I have not found resolution. I haven't tried to export from AGOL lately, but if you are recently having issues, I doubt it has been fixed under the hood within AGOL yet. I have noticed a real lack of consistent success exporting any feature services that have relationship classes, related tables, and subtypes built in, which has been very frustrating, as I can only edit the schema within ArcMap, so these FGDB exports need to accurately reflect the schema that was used to publish.
