As an organisation we use the reporting function within the LMGRD (FlexNet) licence manager to bill back usage to 1000+ users. At ArcGIS 10.2 support for the use of report logs was removed from the ARCGIS daemon. The option works but is very flaky and can result in Status 255 errors being reported to the lmgrd log file. The daemon recovers but will eventually fail.
It would be very advantageous, particularly to Enterprise Licence Agreement holders, if Esri supported the report log option.
