keep up to date with ortho-imagery from Google Earth in Maine - see example below

    For the past two years, I have created farm plans for several farms throughout the northern half of Maine, and in every case, Google Earth images have been more up to date than the images that are available on the ESRI world imagery basemp.  This indicates that, although these are rural areas, more up to date maps exist, but they are not yet included in ESRI's data.  Below is an example.  The first is the ESRI image from the ERSI world imagery base map and the second is the same area from Google Earth.  In this case you can see that the Google Earth image includes an extension of a manure lagoon that was made in the past three years.
