I have configured Portal for Arcgis and set the settings in microstrategy. The EM4MSTR is configured and I can see the base map from the dashboad. When I add data, it allows me to add data from portal and it appear. Once I click apply ok, the layers are not visible in visualization. I have tried also to link data from microstrategy and data from… (Show more)

Power BI now allows users to connect to their organization's ArcGIS Online (AGOL) account, and add their hosted feature layers to their Power BI ArcGIS Maps for Power BI visuals. This is a huge improvement to Power BI, but unfortunately, users can only use one hosted feature layer at a time. Allowing users to utilize multiple hosted feature layers…

I need to be able to connect data to a polygon, not just a point. The visual currently lets me have a base map but this only forms a background. I need to be able to attach data to a polygon and colour and shade the polygons. The esri visual does allow for this if I want to attach to certain features within a country but I need to be able to…

Hello,   Very excited to see the new esri visual in PowerBI.  It would be great to be able to have lines with symbology for color, width, etc.  As a stretch request, edge bundling between points(nodes) would be awesome.     Thank you.

Click to view contentHi! I'm making a size and color map and get problems with symbol size not being proportional to the value of the variable. I've tried different scaling for minimum and maximum size, but the problem persists.   I'm only allowed to choose from the top four classifications in the following list (from the tutorial pages ): -Natural breaks -Equal… (Show more)

My ArcGIS Maps for Power BI have stopped displaying on my desktop.  It looks like they are hanging.  The ESRI watermark is there for each map.  The three vertical yellow bars are moving up and down, but the Power BI wheel stops and then disappears, as if it had finished.  I can click on ... and then "Show data" and see the data.  I can't get… (Show more)

Good day,   I am using ArcGIS in Power BI. I am trying to pin our 80 Canadian branch locations on the map, it caps at 10 locations using "Pins". The data i am displaying is drilling rig activity by latitude and longitude. I want to show the location of my branches in relation to where the activity is happening. Is a paid subscription to esri the… (Show more)

I have tried everything suggested by the tutorials. I have Shapefiles created by myself and 3rd party agencies, I've uploaded CSV, GEOJson, Json files and not one has prompted for this hosted feature layer checkbox that I'm supposed to click on to make it available (and PS. when they upload without an error that is).   I am at my wit's end trying… (Show more)

I purchased a trial of the Plus subscription so that I could add global (non US) demographic data to maps in Power BI. However, there doesn't seem to be any available through the interface. For example, I would like to use this Living Atlas information (https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=b01adaf9e5584d09a147d14924d9cdb5), but searching for… (Show more)
