The 2016 GeoNet Contest kicks off on January 1st. Similar to the 2015 contest there will be two contest periods in addition to the grand prize year-long contest.
- 1st Semi-Annual Contest: January 1, 2016 - June 30, 2016
- 2nd Semi-Annual Contest: July 1, 2016 - December 31, 2016
- Grand Prize Contest: January 1, 2016 - December 31, 2016

- View your earned and unearned missions from your Profile > Reputation > Missions
- Stay up with the current leaderboard by visiting the GeoNet Contest group.
- Complete the on-boarding missions:
- In the game - Upload an avatar
- Joiner - Join a group
- Sherlock - Use the search bar
- Upwardly Mobile - Follow someone
