Developing a mobile application can be challenging, especially when developing for multiple platforms. AWS provides an interesting new service called AWS Device Farm that helps you test your application against real phones and tablets in the AWS Cloud. This is basically a farm of physical devices that can be remotely accessed to test your app simultaneously on my devices. The result is a report that pinpoints bugs and performance issues. This frees developers from purchasing and maintaining all the target devices.
I find this service pretty handy. What do you think? How do you test your mobile apps?
