The total eclipse of the Sun that is happening on August 21, 2017 is sure to be a once in a lifetime experience for many people all across America. This event will also present unique challenges for public safety agencies such as increased congestion, potential communication issues, and potential overburdening of critical infrastructure and resources. This event is also an opportunity to exercise procedures, policies, and tools as many Emergency Operations Centers (EOC) in the total eclipse path will be activated. Please join us for a special installment of the Emergency Management webinar series where members of the Esri Public Safety Team will cover how to use ArcGIS to be better prepared for public safety issues related to the Solar Eclipse. Specially we will cover how to better manage Special Events with GIS, how to configure apps for your command center for better situational awareness to gain insight into any traffic issues, and how best to get information out to the public to keep them informed and safe. At the end of the webcast, we will allow extra time for an informal discussion.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
