Our monthly law enforcement webinar series continues this month as we highlight Esri's new free-to-download Crime Analysis Toolbox helping agencies get started with two tools that support crime prediction using repeat and near repeat victimization analysis. This well-known analysis method is derived from research findings demonstrating that locations targeted for crime face a disproportionately high risk to be revictimized, as do locations within a given area nearby. This method is now available in the ArcGIS platform for the first time. This webinar will introduce and demonstrate the inaugural tools of the Crime Analysis Toolbox:

  • Repeat and Near Repeat Classification tool
  • Prediction Zones tool

This webinar will demonstrate these tools, illustrate how their outputs can be shared with police officers using web GIS, and discuss the operational and investigative implications of the tool outputs.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
