I thought i would put this out there for other ArcGIS Users who are using multiple maps with a single MXD document.
Over the past little while i was writing the same code over and over again for helping with authoring maps that have multiple layouts/items in a single MXD document. As a result i've cooked up a Layout Manager (creative name...) that I've found useful that i thought i would share with the community.
Feel free to share any comments or changes that may help it.

Install via pip
pip install ArcGIS-Layout-Manager
