The position has various responsibilities, and the highlights are:
- Application programming using WebApp Builder, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcPy, C#, and GeoCortex Essentials and Workflow Designer.
- Application management including needs assessment, GUI design, system architecture, software development, implementation processes, integration testing, performance tuning, documentation, and system rollout.
- ArcServer management
- Web services, map services and feature services development and maintenance
- GeoEvent Server development and management
- Integrate GIS with other enterprise systems like asset and emergency management systems
- Manage interagency projects
- Provide technical expertise in designing, deploying, and administering the enterprise GIS systems in support of local government needs
