As a place (space or group) administrator you have the ability to create announcements. These announcements show right under your space/group banner and navigation menu. There is also the ability to send the announcement to members/followers. Those that have their preferences set to receive emails for Inbox notifications will be emailed the group notification.
Create an announcement:
- From the space/group page click Manage Wheel > Announcements.
- Under Active Announcements click Add a new announcement.
- Complete the required information for the announcement:
- Announce a link option creates a hyperlink title (optional)
- Title (required)
- Include an image (optional)
- Description (optional)
- Begins/Expires (required)
- Send Inbox notifications (optional)
- Click Save to create the announcement.
