Abstract:

Using GeoEvent Server, Esri JavaScript API, and Verizon NetworkFleet, Langan has developed an application for tracking snow plows and road statuses in real-time. Local citizens can check their street's plowed status via a public application, while municipal employees can login to make manual updates if needed. In this presentation, we will step through the technologies used as well as the specific issues we tackled in implementing GeoEvent Server.
